Drew Thorn wrote The Pinnacle Club and The Oligarch and is now writing the third book in the Sandy Powell series.

He has been writing professionally for about 40 years. Early writing focused primarily on marketing materials and later technical documents, including leading the MasterCard team which, together with Visa and Europay, developed the technical specifications for the chip in your debit and credit card.

Drew grew up on a dairy farm in upstate New York near Vermont and graduated from Cornell University. He has worked on six continents and has logged over one million actual miles on United Airlines alone. He has lived in multiple cities, including Manhattan, Chicago, Palo Alto, and Sydney, Australia. He has been in 49 of the 50 states; Alaska is still on the bucket list.
